Each year PLEA runs a law and ethics essay competition to foster wider thinking on issues of the day by students at UK and Ireland schools of Pharmacy.
This years competition title for consideration was “The provision of community pharmacy services: Is it always necessary to have a registered pharmacist present?
We received 12 entries from 8 schools of pharmacy.
The winners were from the following schools:
Winner – University of Nottingham
Runners up – Kingston and Reading Universities
Congratulations to Ellie Beard from the University of Nottingham School of Pharmacy who wins £500 and the two runners Mahnoor Khan and Shyan Hodjat up who each receive £250
