PLEA is delighted to co-sponsor the first annual lecture to commemorate our founder, Joy Wingfield.
PLEA Chair, David Reissner, will be giving the memorial lecture on the evening of 9 October 2023. David’s theme will be the regulation of pharmacy – past, present and future. Like healthcare regulation generally in the UK, pharmacy regulation features inertia followed by activity prompted by tragedy and scandal.
The lecture will be given in person at the University of Nottingham where Joy was Honorary Professor of Pharmacy Law and Ethics, and also available to view online. The lecture will be ticketed. Further details will be circulated soon.
