The Law Society’s Gazette reports that a coroner has ruled that the deaths of two nurses at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic have been recorded as an industrial disease.  The LSG cautions that this does not necessarily mean that claims for damages will follow, but it seems likely that the families of pharmacy professionals and other healthcare professionals will consider making claims if, for example, there is evidence that PPE was not provided or that guidance was not followed.
