Consultancy Services

Consultancy Services

Some questions require the expertise of someone with knowledge of pharmacy practice, ethics and the law. PLEA does not itself offer a question and answer service; pharmacists who have day to day queries on legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy practice may wish to use the support service at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society or other pharmacy bodies. However, some PLEA members offer in a professional capacity legal advice, consultancy, court or tribunal representation or training in matters of pharmacy law and ethics.

The PLEA Directory of Consultants allows interested parties to connect with an expert in pharmacy and law or ethics.

  • I need an expert witness for a pharmacy case.
  • Can a pharmacist be criminally liable for making a dispensing error?
  • Where can I find a solicitor to help me present my case before the GPhC?
  • Can I discuss the care of a resident who has Alzheimer’s with care staff?
  • How do I go about getting a wholesale dealer’s licence in the UK?
  • Who can advise me on NHS market entry?
  • Where can I get a training day on pharmacy law and ethics for my non-pharmacist managers?
